Cutting line with 3 controlled axes

LT10 is a cutting line with 3 electronically controlled axes comprising step/in bar feeder, cutting unit with 550 mm diameter blade and unloading bay for the cut pieces.

Considerable machining speeds are achieved with LT 10, while at the same time the robust electrowelded steel base with milled and stabilised steel surfaces guarantees excellent performance in terms of stability and precision during the line cutting process. Brushless motors and encoders control the speed and position of the head during its rising movement and the speed and tilt of the blade during cutting.

In this way machining times are compressed because the cutting head stroke is always optimised according to the profile section. The cut tilting levels are controlled electronically. The locking system is made up of 6 vice units, 4 vertical and 2 horizontal with roller presser that allow the profile to be kept locked at all times during cutting. The vice intervention sequence can be programmed for optimum locking of the various profile geometries.

The blade operates inside a ball centre plate at the centre of gravity to cancel out vibrations and protruding loads.

The whole cutting unit is protected by a cabin containing the PC, the label printer and the bar code reader for rapid insertion of the offcuts.
